OBITUARY: Forrest Atkinson
Forrest "Frosty" Atkinson, 92, Barnesville Health Care Center, formerly of 51865 Headley Ridge Road, Beallsville, [OH] died Sunday, May 17, 1998 in Barnesville Hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1905 near Barnesville, a son of the late John Atkinson and Maude Palmer Vaness.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of God, Beallsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three half brothers, Alton and Chalmer Atkin- son and Floyd Vaness; a half sister, Ella Vaness Jacobs.

Surviving are two sons, Floyd of Beallsville and Guy of Creston; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Vera) Atkinson Sutliff of Palm Bay, Fla; a half brother, Fred Vaness of Malaga; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harper Funeral Home, 52728 Ohio Ave., Beallsville, where services will be held Thurs- day at 1 p.m. with his son, the Rev. Floyd Atkinson officiating. Burial follows in East Sunsbury Cemetery, near Beallsville.
