OBITUARY:
Isaac Eugene Eisenbarth, son of Casper and Mary Eisenbarth, was born February 28, 1845 at Duffy, [Monroe Co.,] Ohio. In early infancy he was moved to Hannibal, Ohio where he grew to young manhood.

He was united in marriage November 27, 1879 to Mary E. Griffon. To this union were born eight children, three sons and five daughters, all of whom are living.

He departed this life July 2, 1929, being at the time of his death 84 years, 4 months and 4 days old.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: William, Charles, and Chester, of Sardis, Ohio; Mrs. Charles Twinem, of Steubenville, O., Mrs. Harold Taylor of Bannock, O., Miss Lillian of Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Wesley Riggenbach and Mrs. Olive Burns, of Sardis, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and three sisters; Mrs. Fred Thonen of Woodsfield, O.; Mrs. Conrad Sal__[unreadable] and Mrs. Geo. Myers, both of Dixon, Illinois; besides a host of other relatives and friends.

He purchased what is now the Eisenbarth home farm in Jackson twp. And with his bride moved to it on March 1, 1880 where he resided until three years ago when he moved to Sardis where he spent the remaining years of his life. He was a good neighbor, being of a pleasant, cheerful disposition and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He became a member of the Salem Evangelical church in 1881, of which he remained a member until his death. He was laid to rest in the Salem Evangelical church cemetery on July 4 [1929], there to await the resurrection.

Maurice McKinley (Mike) Henthorn Sr., 59, of Norton, OH died at 7:25 p.m. July 17, 1991 at Akron General

Medical Center, Akron, OH after suffering a previous massive heart attack.

He was born January 19, 1932 in Hannibal, Monroe County, to Erman McKinley and Georgiana (Baker) Henthorn.

He is survived by two sons, Maurice M. (Mike) Henthorn Jr. of Munroe Falls; David A. Henthorn, Akron; three grand children; three sisters, Betty V. Wilson of Newport; Wilma M. Ludolph of Fly; and Thelma J. Danver of Route 3, New Matamoras; one brother, Gerald E. (Runt) Henthorn of Wadsworth; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan A. (Bachman) Henthorn; one brother Melvin W. (Sonny) Henthorn; one sister, Dorothy L. Cochran, and both parents.

Private Memorial services were held July 19 at Canfield-Hickman Funeral Home, Barberton.

RELATIONSHIP: Melvin Willard Henthorn and his wife, Helen Elizabeth Spear, were 5th cousins, one generation removed. There common ancestor was James Henthorn, the first.

NO_ISSUE: Melvin and Helen Henthorn had no children.

DEATH: He died before his brother Maurice, who died in August 1991. He died at the Barnesville General Hospital.

Problem: Delbert Henthorn has his name, Melvin William Henthorn.

OBITUARY:
Melvin W. Henthorn, 58, of RD 1, New Matamoras, [OH], died Monday [20 Apr 1981] at Barnesville General Hospital. He was born March 19, 1923 at Hannibal, [OH] a son of the late Erman and Georgiana Baker Henthorn.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Hannibal, and a retired employee of the Ohio Injector Co., Wadsworth.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Spear Henthorn in 1955 and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Cochran.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Wilson of Newport, Mrs. Carl (Wilma) Ludolph of Fly, and Mrs. Richard (Thelma) Danver of New Matamoras; two brothers, Maurice of Barberton, and Gerald of Wardsworth.

Friends will be received at the Rush Funeral Home, Sardis, 7 to 9 p.m. tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Frank Conley officiating. Burial in Emma Grove Cemetery, Hannibal, [OH].
