OBITUARY:
Joseph Henry, 63, of 521 Martin Ave., New Martinsville, [WV], a retired Baltimore and Ohio locomotive Engineer, died Tuesday [13 Jan 1959] at 4 p.m. in the Wetzel County Hospital [New Martinsville, Wetzel Co., WV].

He was born at Fairview, Marshall County, Oct. 6, 1895, a son of William and Ida Parsons Henry and was a member of Wetzel Lodge No. 39, A.F. and A.M., Marne Post No. 28, American Legion and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Surviving are his widow, Hazel Gilger Henry; two sons, William H. of Bridgeport, W.Va., and Robert J. of Marietta; one sister, Mrs. Lee Francis of New Martinsville.

Friends may call at the Wharton and Ellis Funeral Home, after 4 p.m. today where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. W.S. Slider and S.B. Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery [New Martinsville, Wetzel Co., WV].  Members of Wetzel Lodge No. 39, A.F. and A.M. will conduct graveside rites.

OBITUARY:
Jason Hendershot, 85, passed away at his home at Kodol, [Wetzel Co., WV] last Wednesday [21 Aug 1940] and funeral rites were held for him at the Mt. Olive church near Kodol Friday.

Rev. N.L. Casey of Pine Grove preached the funeral and interment was made in the church cemetery by the Palmer Funeral Home.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Hendershot, he was born in Wetzel County Sept. 26, 1855.  He was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors include four sons: Odgar, Wayne, Bert, and Okey Hendershot; and three daughters, Mrs. Hazel King, Mrs. Dakota Scritchfield and Mrs. Jessie Efaw. of Kodol.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Ida L. Dulaney, 79, wife of Walter Dulaney and a lifelong resident of the Shannon Run section of Perry Township, [Greene Co., PA] died at her home Sunday morning, Jan. 12, 1947, at 4 o'clock after a brief illness.

A daughter of W. G. and Mary Lemley Headlee, she was born November 5, 1868, in Perry Township [Greene Co., PA], and was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church.

She married Walter [V.] Dulaney [7 Feb 1889, Greene Co., PA], well known Perry Township farmer and stockman, who survives with two daughters and three sons: Miss Mary M. Dulaney and Mrs. Martha D. Gutberlet, at home; F. Ray Dulaney, of Belleville, Pa.; David H. Dulaney, of Muskogee, Okla., and Forney L. Dulaney, of Spraggs, R.D. There are eight grandchildren. Four brothers also survive, namely: Oscar A. Headlee, of Spraggs; Jasper N. Headlee, of Toledo, O.; Benson S. Headlee, of Pataskala, O., and William W. Headlee, of Waynesburg.

DULANEY - Friends of Mrs. Ida L. Dulaney, wife of Walter Dulaney, of Perry Township, who died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1947, will be received at the George I. Church Funeral Parlor, South Washington street, until noon Tuesday, Jan. 14. Private funeral services will be conducted at the Church Funeral Parlor Tuesday afternoon with Rev. H. Ernest McNeely in charge. Burial will be in the Claughton Cemetery [Whiteley Twp., Greene Co., PA]. Please omit flowers.

OBITUARY:
Funeral services for Henry Headley will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Briscoe Run Baptist church, of which he was a member. Burial will be made in the Harkins cemetery [Vienna, Wood Co., WV].

Mr. Headley, an old and respected resident of this community, [Parkersburg, WV] died yesterday morning about 9 o'clock [21 Aug 1926], at the family residence, Saunders Avenue, North Parkersburg. Although he was born in Green [sic] county, Pennsylvania [25 Apr 1842], he moved to this city when nine years of age.

He was a Union veteran having fought in Company G Tenth Regiment, West Virginian Infantry.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret [Ann Howard] Headley, and two sons, Charles and Samuel Headley, and a large number of grandchildren and great grand-children. Two b [illegible, brothers?] and sisters survive, who are Thomas, of California; and Samuel Headley, of this city; Mrs. Richard Starr and Mrs. Danford Nelson, both of Parkersburg.
