OBITUARY:
Mrs. Austie D. Richmond, wife of Archie B. Richmond of Little Grave Creek, died Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Glendale hospital, [Glen Dale, Marshall Co., WV] following a long illness.
The body is at the Riggs funeral home, where services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Evangelists Charles Wells and H.H. George, of the Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
Mrs. Richmond was born February 7, 1899 [Fish Creek, Marshall Co., WV] a daughter of David and Rebecca Alltop Gorby and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband [Archie Benson Richmond], a daughter, Miss Opal, and five sons, Earl, Raymond, Aldridge and Cecil, all of Moundsville and Harold of Bucyrus, OH; three grandchildren; two brothers, Samuel B. Gorby of Bowman's Ridge, and William Gorby of Moundsville and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Baker of Roberts Ridge; Mrs. Stella Taylor and Mrs. Allie Darrah of Moundsville and Mrs. Wylie Taylor of Ryans Ridge.
