OBITUARY: Mrs. Rachel Henthorn (nee Clegg) of Cameron, Ohio was born October 23, 1824 [Monroe Co., OH] and died April 15, 1820 [Monroe Co., OH], being at the time of her death 95 years, 5 months, and 22 days old.

On November 5th, 1843 she was united in marriage with Jesse B. Henthorn, who preceded her to the Great Beyond February 5, 1908.

To this union were born 7 children, 3 of whom, Clifford and Thomas of the home and Mrs. George Pryor of Bellaire, Ohio, preceded her to the grave several years ago.  She leaves to mourn her departure, two sons, David of Cleveland, Ohio and John of Cambridge, Idaho, and two daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Jones and Mrs. Sarah Keller, both of Cameron, Ohio, also twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

She obeyed the gospel at the age of twenty-one, thereby becoming a member of the Church of Christ, of which she was ever a constant and devout worker, ever-faithful to Him that doeth all things well.

She was always found at her post of duty as long as health would permit, her mind being active and alert until her last illness.

She was ever ready to minister to the sick and distressed, and her presence will be sadly missed in the little village in which she lived, where she was addressed by almost everyone with the enduring term of "Grandma" Henthorn.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. Wayne Harkins of Woodsfield, [OH] on Friday, April 16, and interment was made in the Old Cemetery by the side of her husband, there to await the resurrection morn when they that are in their graves shall hear the voice of the Son of god and come forth. OBITUARY:
Nettie Mae Clegg, 91, Beverly, Ohio, died Wednesday [1 Oct 1980] at Selby General Hospital, Marietta. She was born at Rockport, W.Va. [1 May 1889], a daughter of the late Henry W. and Sarah Frances Drum Clegg.

She was a member of the Ullman Street Church of Christ at Beverly and of the Freeport Church of Christ. She lived in the Walker, W.Va. area before moving to Beverly several years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Opal Clark of Beverly, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. Jess Nutter officiating. Burial was in the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Isabel Haudenschield was born December 25, 1858 [in Ohio] and passed away at 8:15 p.m. on August 8, 1938 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Yester in Bremen, Ohio.  She had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on July 28, which resulted in a stroke of paralysis which caused her death.

She was united in marriage to Samuel H. Haudenschield on February 16, 1884 and they spent their entire married life in Antioch [OH].  Her husband died on June 290, 1918.

Mrs. Haudenshield was a daughter of Samuel Richard and Katherine Clegg and was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs. John Hill of Bremen; Erret Haudenschield of Antioch; Mrs. Ed. Yester of Bremen; Mrs. William Yester of Trail Run; Mrs. H.J. Goddard of Woodsfield; and Mrs. Ross Hamilton of Wellsburg.  There are also nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren besides many more distant relatives and scores of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Antioch M.E. Church at 10:30 o'clock this Thursday morning.  rev. L.K. Adams, pastor of the Antioch M.E. Church, assisted with the services in charge of Rev. J.L. Baker, her former pastor.  Burial was in Antioch cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Henry Washington Clegg, 74, died at his home in Walker [WV], Rt. 1, early Saturday morning [4 Feb 1933].

He was born in Monroe County, Ohio, April 23, 1858, but had been a resident of the Walker section for the past 40 years. He was a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Frances [Drum] Clegg; and the following sons and daughters: Charles R. Clegg, Sardis, Ohio; Chalmer E. Clegg, Walker, W.Va.; Miss Nettie Clegg, at home; Floyd M. Clegg, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Bessie M. Bennett, at home; Mrs. I.C.T. Trout, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. H. M. Clark, Walker. Twenty-one grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Isaphene Foffin, of Murphytown, also survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home and burial was made in the Kanawha Baptist Cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Funeral services for Chalmer E. Clegg, 82, Rt. 1, Walker [WV], who died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 28, at St. Joseph's Hospital, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Ross Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Elder William F. Hawkes officiating. Burial was in the Kanawha Baptist Cemetery.

Born at Rockport, [Wood Co., WV on 21 Feb 1887] he was a son of the late Henry W. and Sarah Drumm [sic, Drum] Clegg, and was self-employed most of his life, doing farming and carpentry work. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Clegg, two sons, Walden Leroy Clegg and Edwin Delmont Clegg, both of Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Waneita Virginia Stump, Takoma Park, Md., and Mrs. Eileen Laverne Lohoefener, Walker; one brother, Floyd Clegg, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Clegg, Walker, Mrs. Bessie Henthorne, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Opal Clark, Waterford, O.; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
