Watson, Cleo Ethel

NEW PHILADELPHIA [OH] ---Funeral services for Mrs. Cleo Ethel Watson, 55, 859 Second St., this city, a native of Belle Valley, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Toland-Evans Funeral Home by Rev. H.C. Heinlein. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson, whose husband Clarence, operates the Lockport hatchery, died at 9:45 Thursday at the Shady Rest nursing home here after a three months illness.

She was born Jan. 22, 1894, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. McCune. For many years she lived in this community and was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church and of its Ladies Sunday school class.

Besides her husband, she leaves, four sons, James, Robert and Walter of New Philadelphia, and Richard of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Watkins, New Philadelphia and Mrs. Richard Whiting of Tuscarawas; four brothers, Orville McCune of Wooster, Thomas and Owen McCune of Belle Valley and Dewey McCune of Cumberland; one sister, Mrs. Edward Hannum, Caldwell; four grandsons, three granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

The body has been taken to the funeral home where friends may call after 7 P.M. Friday and on Saturday in the afternoon from 2 to 4 and in the evening from 7 to 9 P.M.
