Hannum, Edward

CALDWELL [OH] - Edward Hannum, 70, of 707 Walnut St., died Wednesday at 3 A.M. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, [OH] where he had been a patient one week.

He was born June 28, 1889, the son of Henry L. and Ida Unklesbay Hannum. A retired miner, he was a life-long resident of Noble County.

The deceased leaves his widow, Inez Hannum; two sons, Harry Hannum, postmaster of Belle Valley and Bernard Hannum also of Belle Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Snyder and Mrs. Darrell Roe, both of Summerfield R. D. 1; and Mrs. James Shaw of Sarahsville R. D.1; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Otho Cale of Buffalo, and Mrs. Lena DeVault of Mansfield.

Mr. Hannum was a member of Caldwell Baptist Church.

The body is at McVay Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 P.M. by Rev. Roy Wikander. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
