                              OBITUARY: Services Friday at Caldwell for Raymond Watson Funeral services will be held Friday at Murphy Funeral Home, Caldwell, [OH], for Raymond H. Watson, 83, who died Wednesday, April 26 [1972] in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, [OH], following an illness.
                             
                                Formerly of Noble County, he was a retired school teacher and merchant.  The son of George and Sarah Mendenhall Watson, he was born June 29, 1888 in Noble County.
                             
                                Mr. Watson was a member of the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church.
                             
                                Surviving are his widow, Birdie; a son, James Watson of Caldwell; five grandchildren.
                             
                                A son, Hubert, three brothers and a sister are deceased.
                             
                                Rev. James L. Mason of Zanesville and Rev. Marshall Peterson will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Friends Cemetery at Quaker City.
