                                 OBITUARY: Sara J. Havens
                                 BLOOMINGTON [IL] -- Sara J. "Sally" Havens, 74, of Rochelle, [IL] formerly of Normal, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Nov. 28, 2001) at Rochelle Community
                                 Hospital.
                                 Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church of Rochelle, the Rev. Jon Hutchison officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle, is in charge of arrangements.
                               
                                 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or to Rochelle Community Hospital.
                               
                                 She was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Normal, a daughter of L. Eugene and Mary Louise Olmsted Stretch. She married John T. Havens on Nov. 24, 1951, in Normal. He survives.
                               
                                 Other survivors include a daughter, Nancy Havens, Earlville; a son, Barry (Barbara) Havens, Garland, Texas; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
                               
                                 She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth Wroan. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rochelle, PEO Sisterhood, DAR, Flagg Township Historical Society, Rochelle Women's Club and Rochelle Hospital Auxiliary.
                               
                                 She graduated from University High School in Normal in 1945 and attended Illinois State University for two years.
                               
                                 She and her husband had recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
