OBITUARY: John B. Watson Called By Death in 84th Year
Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pisgah church, near Fairview, [OH], for John B. Watson, 84, who died suddenly Friday morning [Abt. 20 Apr 1956] at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Carman of Quaker City R.D. 2. Services were conducted by Rev. Robert Zinsmesiter of Quaker City and interment was made at the church cemetery;.
Mr. Watson was born in Noble county Dec. 23, 1871, a son of Yoho and Mary Ann Watson.
The deceased is survived by five sons: Dewey, George and Raymond all of Akron; Fred of Salesville, R.D. and Herman of Quaker City, R.D.; four daughters: Verna of Akron, Mrs. Dessie Gray and Mrs. Mary Carman, Quaker City, R.D., and Mrs. Ada Johnson of Fairview; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Maude Starr of Middlebourne and one brother, Forrest Watson of Cambridge.
His wife, Jane DeMent Watson preceded him in death September 15, 1948.
