OBITUARY:
Mary A. Eikelberry Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Mary A. Eikelberry of Route 1, Sardis, [OH] died Monday, March 29, at 9:00 p.m. in the Ohio Valley General Hospital in Wheeling, [WV]. She was born in Monroe county, February 10, 1881, a daughter of Eli and Phoebe Henthorn. She was married to James Eikelberry. She had resided on Sardis Route all her life.

Surviving are the following children: George, Homer and Miss Hazel Eikelberry of the home; Mrs. Grace Jackson and Mrs. Nellie Howell of Sardis Route and Mrs. Clara Mozena of Wheeling, W.Va. A son, Clark, died at the age of three years. One brother, Irvin Henthorn, Sturgeon, Pa. and two sisters, Mrs. Preston Hoskinson and Mrs. M.W. Eikelberry of Sardis Route 1, also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the West Union Church of Christ this Thursday afternoon at two o'clock with Elmer Taylor officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery by the Haudenschield funeral home of Antioch.
