Mrs. Freda Bracy, 82, of East Marietta Street, Woodsfield [OH], died at 5 p.m. Tuesday [11 Apr 1972] at McGraw Nursing Home in Pleasant Grove [Muskingum Co., OH] where she was a patient.

Born Sept. 19, 1889, at Woodsfield [Monroe Co., OH], Mrs. Bracy was a daughter of Charles and Kathryn Lang Burkhart.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Isabel Foraker of Crown Point, Ind.: a brother, Dr. W.C. Burkhart of Athens, Ga.: and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home here with Rev. Charles Price in charge. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

OBITUARY: Services Friday at Caldwell for Raymond Watson Funeral services will be held Friday at Murphy Funeral Home, Caldwell, [OH], for Raymond H. Watson, 83, who died Wednesday, April 26 [1972] in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, [OH], following an illness.

Formerly of Noble County, he was a retired school teacher and merchant. The son of George and Sarah Mendenhall Watson, he was born June 29, 1888 in Noble County.

Mr. Watson was a member of the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Birdie; a son, James Watson of Caldwell; five grandchildren.

A son, Hubert, three brothers and a sister are deceased.

Rev. James L. Mason of Zanesville and Rev. Marshall Peterson will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Friends Cemetery at Quaker City.

McCune, Elmer E.

DUNCAN FALLS [OH] -- Elmer E. "Dewey" McCune, 94, of Zanesville, died Friday (May 3, 1996) at the Muskingum County Home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1901 in Belle Valley, son of the late Thomas and Mary Yoho McCune.

He was a miner for 20 years and worked for 15 years on the highway department.

He attended Ark Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McCune, on Jan. 13, 1990; Also deceased are six brothers, Orville, T.R., Silas, Harry, John Owen and Bill McCune; three sisters, Inez Hannum, Cleo Watson and Freda McCune.

He leaves a son Carl "Bud" McCune of McConnelsville; four daughters, Geraldine Rapp of Canton, Maxine Spillman of Bolivar and Lucille Shook and Donna Dingey, both of Blue Rock; 19 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at Thompson-Feris Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where services will be 11:30 A.M. Monday. Burial will be in Ark Springs Cemetery.
