OBITUARY: Harold E. Donley
Harold E. Donley, a senior research associate at PPG Industries Glass Research Center in Harmar, died yesterday [30 Apr 1985] at Shadyside Hospital following a heart attack. [Born, 3 May 1929 at Southside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA]

Mr. Donley, 55, of 700 10th St., Oakmont, had a 25-year career with PPG Indsutries. He had been awarded 11 U.S. patents and numerous foreign patents for his work on solar-efficient coatings for architectural glass.

He was a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, where he majored in chemistry. Mr. Donley was listed in Who's Who Among Scientists in the East and was a member of the American Chemical Society, Electro-Chemical Society and the American Association of Chemists.

Surviving are his wife, Janice G. [Janice Yvonne Garlock] Donley; a son, Dr. H. Edward Jr. of Harrisonburg, Va; and two daughters, Susan Kay Donley at home and Cathy D. Chavez of Sharpsburg.

Services and burial, arranged by Thomas D. English Funeral Home in Oakmont, will be private. Friends will be received from 7 to o 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Donley family home in Oakmont.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Wildlife Federation, 1412 16th St. N.W., Washington, D.C.

OBITUARY:
Dr. Michael J. Maury, resident of 1307 LaClair Ave., Pittsburgh, [PA] and physician in that city, died Tuesday at 5 a.m. at the Angelus Hospital there.

He was born Dec. 6, 1892, in Clarington, [OH], a son of L.S. and Julia Boughner Maury, and was a 32nd degree Mason.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Maury; a daughter, Virginia; three sons, Donald, Samuel, and William, all of the home; two sisters, Miss Jane and Miss Alma Maury, both of Clarington.

Friends will be received at the Rush Funeral Home at Clarington after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 with Minister J.V.A. Traylor officiating. Burial will be in the Cameron Cemetery.
