OBITUARY:
Nettie Mae Clegg, 91, Beverly, Ohio, died Wednesday [1 Oct 1980] at Selby General Hospital, Marietta. She was born at Rockport, W.Va. [1 May 1889], a daughter of the late Henry W. and Sarah Frances Drum Clegg.

She was a member of the Ullman Street Church of Christ at Beverly and of the Freeport Church of Christ. She lived in the Walker, W.Va. area before moving to Beverly several years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Opal Clark of Beverly, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. Jess Nutter officiating. Burial was in the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre.

OBITUARY:
Funeral services for Chalmer E. Clegg, 82, Rt. 1, Walker [WV], who died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 28, at St. Joseph's Hospital, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Ross Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Elder William F. Hawkes officiating. Burial was in the Kanawha Baptist Cemetery.

Born at Rockport, [Wood Co., WV on 21 Feb 1887] he was a son of the late Henry W. and Sarah Drumm [sic, Drum] Clegg, and was self-employed most of his life, doing farming and carpentry work. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Clegg, two sons, Walden Leroy Clegg and Edwin Delmont Clegg, both of Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Waneita Virginia Stump, Takoma Park, Md., and Mrs. Eileen Laverne Lohoefener, Walker; one brother, Floyd Clegg, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Clegg, Walker, Mrs. Bessie Henthorne, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Opal Clark, Waterford, O.; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
