OBITUARY: James Hall Died Saturday
James E. Hall, 65, of RD 1, Dallas, [WV] died Saturday in Wheeling Hospital [Wheeling, Ohio Co., WV].

He was a truck driver for Griffith Brothers, Wheeling, and a Protestant.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Rine Hall; two sons, Dallas of Triadelphia and Dale of Wheeling; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Carolyn) Baron of Triadelphia; two brothers, Thomas of Wheeling and Carl of Cameron; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Virginia) Henry of Moundsville, Mrs. Paul (Lucy) Boisvert of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Ben (Delores) Lewis of New Martinsville; seven grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.  Interment was in Stone Church cemetery, Wheeling [WV].

OBITUARY: JOHN W. DAGUE DIES TODAY - AGED RETIRED FARMER SUCCUMBS AT HIS ELM GROVE RESIDENCE

Dague, John W. 86, retired Marshall County farmer and a resident of Elm Grove for the past 22 years died this morning (Wednesday, August 9, 1939) at 7 o'clock at his home, 110 Center Street, (Wheeling, West Virginia) following on an extended illness.

Mr. Dague was born in Viola, Marshall County, WV, June 16, 1853, a son of Daniel Dague (1814-1882) and Eliza Jane Luke Dague (1815-1888), members of pioneer families of that vicinity. He resided at Viola the greater part of his life and was engaged in farming there for many years. Mr. Dague united with the Sand Hill United Methodist Church when 11 years old and transferred membership to the Elm Grove Methodist Church when he moved to that District.

Surviving are his wife, Hannah [A.] Jones Dague, four children, Miss Carrie M. Dague at home, Mrs. Suzanna Giesler of Barryton, Michigan; George Norman Dague of West Finley, Pennsylvania; Oscar Dague of Lake, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Laura Jones of West Finley, Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Crider Funeral Home. Time for services will be announced later.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon (August 11, 1939) in the Chapel of the Crider (now Kepner) Funeral Home. Rev. A. Coleman Brown, pastor of Elm Grove Methodist Church, Rev. John Q. Myers, pastor of Elm Grove Church of God, and Rev. A. M. Barlow, of Huntington, WVa., former Elm Grove Methodist Church pastor, will officiate. Interment is to follow in Stone Church Cemetery (Elm Grove, Wheeling, WV).
