OBITUARY:
George W. Watson, son of David and Charlotte Watson, was born in Seneca township, Noble county, Ohio, Oct. 22, 1850, and died March 9, 1909, aged 58 years, 4 months and 16 days.

He was united in marriage to Sarah I. Mendenhall, Feb. 20, 1873. To this union were born five children, David A. and Clark H. of Senecaville, Howard A., of Kennonsburg, Maggie, wife of Charles H. Bates and Raymond H., who resides with is widowed mother.

He united with the Coen's M.E. church in 1882, under the pastorate of Rev. J.W. Satterthwaite and remained a consistent member of the same till death.

His last suffering was intense but he bore it all with Christian fortitude.

He leaves a wife, four sons, one daughter, nine brothers, one sister and many friends to mourn his departure. By his death the family loses a loving father and husband, the church a consistent member and the community a noble citizen.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ross Sullivan at the Coen's M.E. church. Interment in the cemetery nearby. FRIEND.
