OBITUARY:
Charles Glee Hannahs, 67, of East Canal Street, Newcomerstown, [Tuscarawas Co., OH] died Wednesday night, October 23, 1963, at 11:45 o'clock in County Memorial Hospital, Coshocton, [Franklin Co., OH].

Born in Calais [Monroe Co., OH], April 21, 1896, he was a son of the late William Alva Hannahs and Mary C. Richeson Hannahs, who survives.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving in a machine gun battalion in the Fifth Division.

Mr. Hannahs was a member of Thomas Montgomery Post No. 431, American Legion.

In addition to his mother, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Russell Tufford, of Newcomerstown, Route 2 and Mrs. Lewis Fletcher, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and four brothers, Elvin Hannahs of Canton; Paul Hannahs of Newcomerstown; Preston Hannahs and Alva Hannahs both of Newcomerstown Route 1. One brother is deceased.

Funeral services were held in the Ourant Funeral Home, in Newcomerstown on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, with the Rev. O. E. Ghere officiating. Interment was in E. State Street Cemetery at Newcomerstown [Tuscarawas Co., OH].
