OBITUARY: Evelyn Richmond, 86, Passes Away
Mrs. Evelyn (Baker) Richmond, 86, widow of the late J.R. Richmond, [John Russell Richmond] died at 11:58 pm, Tuesday [29 Dec 1953]in her home on Western avenue, Cameron [Marshall Co., WV] following a lengthy illness.

Friends are being received at Grisells, 805 Fifth street, Moundsville, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday by Rev Von Allman of the Cameron Christian church. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Richmond was born on Games Ridge December 6, 1866, daughter of John and Mary Ann Minor Baker. She spent most of her life in and about Moundsville, and had resided in Cameron for 13 years.

Preceded in death by a son, Austin, in 1918 and by her husband in 1926, Mrs. Richmond is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mayme Clouston of Cameron, Mrs. Letta McCardle of McMechen, Mrs. Lucille Howell of Akron, OH, Mrs. Ethel Plues of Glendale, Mrs Stella High of Weirton; a son, John, of Cambridge, OH; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Wellman of Sherrard and Mrs. Lulu Pettit of Moundsville; two brothers, Joseph Baker, Roberts Ridge, and John Baker of Belmont, OH.

Mrs. Richmond was a member of Moundsville First Christian church.
