OBITUARY: GOUDY, Fred, 83, of the Mound View Nursing Home, Moundsville, died Friday [24 Jun 1983] at the Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale [WV]. He was a former resident of Warwood. He was a member of the Christian Church and was a retired employee for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marie Voorheis Goudy, in 1957 [28 May 1957 at Wheeling, Ohio Co., WV].

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Harry (Wanda) Sine of Glen Dale, Mrs Harold (Mary Louise) Howell of Navarre, Ohio, Mrs Thomas (Carole) West of Navarre and Mrs. Dorothy Simpson of Saginaw, Mich; two brothers, W. C Goudy of New Martinsville and Alton Goudy of Paden City; five grandchildren.

Friends received at the Grisell Funeral Home, Moundsville, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held Monday at the convenience of the family. Interment in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.
