OBITUARY: Rites Wednesday For Daniel Dague
Funeral services for Daniel Dague, 50, well known Marshall County farmer, who died at his home, Viola, WV, yesterday morning [January 29, 1934] at 7 o'clock, will be conducted at the Chapel of the Crider Brothers (now Kepner) Funeral Home, Elm Grove on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o' clock Rev. A. M. Barlow, pastor of the Elm Grove M. E. Church, will officiating and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
Mr. Dague's death following an extended illness of heart trouble. He was born on the farm on which he died and had spent his entire life near Viola. He was born April 2, 1883. The decedent was a member of the Sand Hill M. E. Church. His parents were John Wesley Dague (1853- 1939) and Hannah A. Jones Dague (1859-1941).
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Dague, his parents, one daughter, Miss Margaret Dague (later Mrs. Harold Koontz) and one son, Charles Woodruff Dague, at home. Two sisters, Miss Carrie M. Dague, instructor at Wheeling High School and Mrs. Susanna Giesler, living in Michigan and two brothers, Oscar Dague of Peters Run and Norman Dague of Sand Hill, also survive.
