Mrs. Rachel Ann Danford Christopher, 59, died Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock at her home in Mt. Ephraim [OH] following an extended illness lasting several weeks.
Mrs. Christopher was born Nov. 27, 1876, near Mt. Ephraim [OH] the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Stevens Yoho. In 1906 she was united in marriage to Robert Danford, who died Sept. 2, 1918 and on June 2, 1926. she was married E.A. Christopher, who survives. She spent her entire life in the Mt. Ephraim vicinity with the exception of 12 years. when she lived near Caldwell.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Harry Miley, of the home; one brother, John Y. Yoho of Mt. Ephraim; one sister, Mrs. Martha Gregg of Akron, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Mt. Ephraim M.E. Church of which she was a member, by Rev. Herbert Shiltz, of Clarington, a former pastor. Interment will be made in Mt. Ephraim Cemetery.
