"Robert (Bob) Henthorn was born in Osborn, Ohio on April 20, 1928, and passed away quietly, surrounded by his family on October 1, 2009. Bob grew up in San Bernardino and graduated from San Bernardino High School, where he was a star athlete in baseball and basketball. He graduated from San Bernardino Valley College and later attended San Diego State, where he met his wife Barbara of 59 years."
