Yoho, Bernard L., Sr., 75 of Wileyville, W.Va., passed away at his residence as the result of a tractor accident on August 9, 2008.
He was born September 27, 1932, in Wheat, W.Va., a son of the late Jacob Henry and Nettie Cross Yoho.
He was a Protestant by faith. He was retired from Ormet Corp., after 31 years of service. He was an avid farmer and horseman. He was also in the United Steelworkers of America Local No. 5724 out of Clarington, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Lea Yoho; a brother, Harold Yoho; and sisters, Jessie Kirkpatrick and Mary Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn "Heavy" Yoho; one son, Bernard Jr. "Bernie" Yoho; one grandson, Nathaniel Yoho; one great-grandson, Dillon Yoho; five sisters, Anna Goddard and Ora Greathouse of New Martinsville, W.Va., Pansy Price of Knob Fork, W.Va., Irene Morris of Dunlow, W.Va., and Pelma Swiger of Wileyville.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home, in Pine Grove, W.Va., where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment in the Yoho Cemetery on Hoyt Ridge.
